ACI Joins the On Demand Trend
ACI benefits from the growing volume of electronic transactions. Last year, its software processed nearly 60 billion consumer payments and managed $3 trillion in wholesale payments each day. Its revenue rose 11% to $348 million, beating the single digit growth rate of the overall software sector.
ACI Pitches Hosted Tools to Midsized Firms
Ralph Dangelmaier, president of the software-as-a-service unit, said the new version, ACI On-Demand, is designed for banks that want morecustomization than outsourcers typically provide but do not want to install and maintain the complex systems themselves, as large banks do with his company’s software. “The banks in the middle, they don’t have the money of the big banks, but they want to compete with the big banks,” said Mr. Dangelmaier. “This opens up the middle of the market.”

More Companies Add Benefits for Employees who Adopt
Omaha-based ACI Worldwide, provider of software for electronic payment systems, offers up to a $5,000 reimbursement for adoption costs for employees who have been with the company at least a year.
”By supporting the adoption process, we provide a benefit that is above and beyond,” says Les Real, human resources director. “It provides us a distinction in the marketplace.”
