Kristin Jones Muff is the founder and president of Jones Public Relations. Throughout her career, Kristin has provided strategic counsel and media relations expertise to companies such as Network General, Workday, Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, AMD, QUALCOMM, Pay By Touch, PeopleSoft, Plantronics, Sun Microsystems, VeriFone and OQO computers. Kristin has garnered media coverage in literally all of the major business and trade publications, including Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Forbes, Investor's Business Daily, BusinessWeek, Financial Times, USA Today, CNET, InformationWeek, eWeek and InfoWorld.
Prior to founding Jones Public Relations, Kristin worked with two of the world's largest PR firms — Porter Novelli and Weber Shandwick. She's also worked with a number of boutique PR agencies in Silicon Valley including Eastwick Communications and Bite Communications.
Kristin also worked with the ConAgra Foods executive management team to build a cross-company communication program that targeted 80,000 employees in more than 1,500 business locations for the implementation of PeopleSoft HRMS. At Mutual of Omaha insurance company, Kristin worked in corporate communications, where her job responsibilities included everything from speech writing to planning and promoting appearances for Wild Kingdom stars Jim Fowler and Peter Gros.
Additionally, Kristin is founder and president of the Gary Jones Association, a nonprofit organization that focuses on protecting the rights of vulnerable adults nationwide. She also serves as chairman of the board for the Gary Jones Association, overseeing corporate strategy, managing daily operations and serving as the company spokesperson. Kristin is a leading advocate and thought leader on the issues of elder abuse and third-party visitation rights. She also is a member of the Elder Justice Coalition and the International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (INPEA).
