Blogging is big business, even if the portion of bloggers in American that ARE big business is small.

While only 15 percent of the world’s 164 million blogs are corporate blogs, more than 60 percent of U.S. customers say they have made a purchase based on a blog post, according to Social Media Pearls.

If so many of the blogs out there are not business blogs, why does it matter? Because small businesses that do blog generate 126 percent more leads than those that don’t, and B2B companies that blog more than 4 times a week see the biggest increase in traffic and leads.
