Inbound marketing channels continue to grow in popularity and effectiveness. In 2012, more than half of companies who use inbound marketing reported to HubSpot in the company’s annual State of Inbound report that they had acquired customers through their corporate blog, LinkedIn or Facebook.

The 2014 report continued to list a majority of marketers—more than 70 percent—citing social media as a lead source that had become more important over the previous six months. More than 50 percent said that blogs had become more important as a lead source. (Click to tweet)
