Here are a few stats to chew on for a minute:

  • Facebook users view more than 8 billion videos every day.

  • One in five Facbook videos is now a live broadcast.

  • By 2020, over 75 percent of the world’s mobile data traffic will be video.

Now a question: Is your business’s Facebook page a part of this future?

If not, do you have plans for joining the crowd? Sadly, if you don’t, you may be left behind.

Luckily, using video on Facebook doesn’t have to be intimidating or extensive.

It could mean a business such as a spa providing a video tour of the facility, or a quick holiday greeting from the staff. It could be sharing informative videos from credible sources that teach your followers, such as a financial institution sharing a video about budgeting from a consumer credit counseling service.

Videos, though currently only 3 percent of the total posts on Facebook, have the highest engagement rate, with live videos generating 10 times as many comments as regular videos.
