Social media posts are one of three content types that marketers pinpointed as being most effective in achieving specific objects, according to a survey by the Content Marketing Institute and Marketing Profs.
So it is no wonder that 94 percent of respondents say social media posts are among their top priorities for content creation and content marketing in 2018. Not far behind were case studies (also cited as one of the most effective formats) and pre-produced video.
No matter what format it is presented in, it is reassuring to note that our peers and colleagues are focused on creating credible content, insisting on quality and writing for their audience rather than their brand (which can help content build SEO power).
