Looking Past The Mass Marketing, We Wish You a Heartfelt Happy Holiday

It’s tough to be in marketing and not lose just a little of the magic of the season to cynicism. After all, we understand the motivation behind that blend of holiday music, those seasonal scents, and the placement of those $10 knickknacks no one really needs right at eye-level with the implication they will be the perfect final touch to a Christmas scene straight out of a Norman Rockwell painting.
Then again, maybe we marketers aren’t the only ones feeling a little jaded. John Atkinson of Wrong Hands doesn’t seem to think so.
And while we may all be weary of the “Christ-Mass Marketing,” as he titles it, we still have some holiday left in our hearts to wish you and yours the very best.
