Meet Eric:

Eric is a seasoned communications professional with 30 years of experience in executive communications, strategic messaging, corporate public relations, financial communications, and agency leadership.

His extensive career includes notable achievements at Google, where he spent seven years developing award-winning speeches and messaging content for top cloud executives like Matt Renner, PH Ferrand, Diane Bryant, Nina Harding, and Kevin Ichhpurani. During his tenure, he received more than 30 awards for his exceptional work, with executives praising his leadership and ability to provide stability and calm under pressure.

Prior to his time at Google, Eric honed his skills at AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) starting in 2004, where he wrote speeches for CEO Hector Ruiz and other key executives, led the communications strategy for th spinoff and IPO of AMD’s flash memory unit Spansion, and led communications for the acquisition of ATI – one of the largest buyouts of its kind at the time.

His role as Senior Vice President at Weber Shandwick Worldwide saw him manage a multi-million dollar book of business and lead a global media team that achieved over 1,300 pieces of earned media coverage annually.

At Seagate, Eric served as Senior Director of Corporate & Executive Communications, where he was the speechwriter and messaging lead for CEO Steve Luczo. Eric also led Seagate’s financial communications, social media, product review and internal communications functions.

Eric also made significant contributions at BMC Software, revitalizing the public relations, analyst relations, and social media teams, and securing coverage in top-tier media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, BloombergTV, and Forbes.

His early career included 4.5 years as a Public Relations Specialist at Lockheed Martin, promoting high-profile programs like the Hubble Space Telescope and the Space Shuttle. Additionally, he spent five years as a journalist in Washington, D.C., where he published over 2,000 articles on federal budgeting, Congressional oversight, and aerospace programs.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Journalism from St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY. His diverse background and proven track record in various high-stakes environments underscore his expertise and leadership in the communications field.
