Plan Your Content Based on the Sales Funnel

Inbound marketing, and the content that drives it, functions as a funnel: wide at the top to catch as many prospects as possible, then narrow at the bottom, passing on to sales only qualified leads.
As I discuss in this video, each stage in that funnel demands a different types of content based on the buyer's journey. That means more general awareness and education content at the top, worksheets and templates in the middle, and specific product and pricing comparison for those leads nearing a buying decision.
