Marketers Slowly Turning To More Freelance Writers
Who is writing all the content being generated by inbound marketing efforts?
The majority is still created by in-house sources, either marketing staff or executives, but increasingly the need for quality content is leading marketers to look outside their own office door.
Based on reports from more than 3,000 marketers and executives who responded to HubSpot’s State of Inbound 2015 report, the portion of content created by agency partners increased from 8 percent to 10 percent between 2014 and 2015. Similarly, freelancers were responsible for slightly more content in 2015 than the year before (13% vs. 12%).
